Hi,
Please mates, i need help to answer this question. However, I want to add something; whoever writes questions for the CCNA exams are absolutely ignorant in how they write questions or they are being deliberate in trying to fool the test takers, which is sad.
I face a lot of questions that are very confused and frustrated !
Which step is required before creating a new WLAN on a Cisco 3500 series WLC?
- A. Create a new SSID.
- B. Build or have an SNMP server available.
- C. Build or have a RADIUS server available.
- D. Create a new VLAN interface.
We are of the same mind. Besides, based on my understanding, I believe that only D will work. But honestly, I’m not sure about it.
D is the right answer, each new WLAN configured on a Cisco 3500 series WLC needs its own VLAN interface.
It is required that a new VLAN interface be created first before a new WLAN can be created. Thus, I see that this is obvious and it is one of the simplest questions.
If I remember correctly, SSID doesn’t have a relation with the creating of WLAN, and it is mandatory to create a VLAN interface first before start creating new WLAN.
Don’t let these types of questions frustrate and stress you. focus on gathering the maximum possible of knowledge instead of thinking about how questions are made.
Besides, I wish you Good Luck!
