Hi,
I would be thankful guys if you provide me with the answer of this question.
Which statement is correct about network protocols?
- Network protocols define the type of hardware that is used and how it is mounted in racks.
- They define how messages are exchanged between the source and the destination.
- They all function in the network access layer of TCP/IP.
- They are only required for the exchange of messages between devices on remote networks.
Thank you!
Network protocols are implemented in hardware or software, or both, However, they define how messages are exchanged between the source and the destination.
Hi Guys,
I am preparing for the CCNA exam and as an example when I come into this question, I found that all I learned and understood just don’t apply to the questions and the answers given to the specific question.
Sorry, Chloe for not answering your question!
The same thing happens to me!
At first time, I selected C, but C is the wrong answer. However, the correct answer is B referring to Stella’s answer. It is so very confusing I’m having a headache reading the sentence all over again.
I select the second one because based on my understanding, the network protocols interact with each other within different layers of a protocol stack. Furthermore, protocols have nothing to do with the installation of the network equipment, and the network protocols are required to exchange information between source and destination devices in both local and remote networks.
I can see the answer is the second statement. that is what I got right away. The first one does confuse me only because I thought that network protocols does not required to exchange information between source and destination.
