This is one of the tricky questions, you have to pay attention while answering them. anyway the right answer is the third option.

I took the exam recently, and this is one of the questions that i can’t answer it in the exam.
I though that the it is a broadcast adress. However, the broadcast address for this network would be 172.17.4.255. While the right answer is the host address.

Useable host addresses for this network are 172.17.4.1 through 172.17.4.254.
Maybe you should try the exam stimulators too, because it’s the best way to make sure you are ready to take the exam.

As Scarlett said, this is one of the tricky questions. so, my advice is to properly understand each topic because there is gonna be a lots of tricky questions.
