Hi Everybody,
Please, I need help with CCNA exam questions, I am preparing for it as it I have to take the test after one month.
This is the question:
What are two reasons for creating an OSPF network with multiple areas? (Choose two.)
- to provide areas in the network for routers that are not running OSPF
- to ensure that an area is used to connect the network to the Internet
- to reduce SPF calculations
- to reduce the use of memory and processor resources
- to simplify configuration
I appreciate your help !
If your router is not running OSPF, you cannot configure an OSPF range for it. OSPF areas are not directly related to the Internet. A router running OSPF can connect to the Internet, but multiple OSPF ranges are not required for this purpose. OSPF ranges help reduce router memory and processing power requirements by limiting OSPF protocol traffic, keeping the link-state database small, and requiring fewer SPF recalculations. Multi-area OSPF requires additional configuration steps and therefore does not simplify the configuration process.
For me, the best way is to read a book or an e-book, then practice along with it. by reason of when you read then you practice, the concepts become clear in the mind.
However, I wish you good luck.
Hey,
The two reasons are the third and fourth options;
Good Luck!
Hello Luna,
I just want to give you some tips and advice to pass your exam, First, read through the book the first time without notes and took the quizzes. Then, read through it a second time and took quizzes again. Also, solve the final exam at the back of the book.
That’s it!
Good Luck!
Hi Luna,
I wish you all the best in your exam. Furthermore, creating an OSPF network with multiple areas
is to reduce SPF calculations and to reduce the use of memory and processor resources.
