Hello Guys,
Please, anyone, provide me with the answer to this question!
What are the two differences between optical-fiber cabling and copper cabling? (Choose two.)
- A. A BNC connector is used for fiber connections
- B. The glass core component is encased in a cladding
- C. The data can pass through the cladding
- D. Light is transmitted through the core of the fiber
- E. Fiber connects to physical interfaces using RJ-45 connections
Personally, I hate this type of question because find them meaning less.
Is this a real CCNA exam question Rowan?
Yes, it is a real CCNA exam question! Also, I don’t like this kind o question with more than three multiple choices. it makes me confused.
Anyhow, I wish we can pass easily this exam!
Hi Rowan,
The structure of the fiber is: Jacket encase Buffer, Buffer encase Cladding, Cladding encase core. In addition, we use light to transmit data through the core. Therefore, B and D are the right answer… Good Luck!
Hi Rowan,
Honestly, I don’t know the answer but I am sure that A and E are the wrong statements because the BNC Connector is for Coaxial Cable, so A is wrong, and RJ45 is a connector is for twisted pair, thus E is wrong.
I hope this helps!
