Greetings!
I am confused to choose between two options, the fourth and fifth one. However, I am sure about the 2nd option. can anyone help me with this?
What are two of the required steps to configure PAT? (Choose two.)
- Create a standard access list to define applications that should be translated.
- Define a pool of global addresses to be used for overload translation.
- Define the range of source ports to be used.
- Define the hello and interval timers to match the adjacent neighbor router.
- Identify the inside interface.
Thanks!
I took the exam 2 years ago, and I remember this question, it was a confusing one for me too.
The right option is the last one, not the fourth one.
Anyway, I wish you good luck in your exam if you plan to take it!
Hi Emma,
Thank you for your help and your wishing!
Also, I took the exam one year ago, but unfortunately, I failed it because I was reading only the exam dumps.
Now I try to practice more and more. I hope i can pass it in this second attempt!
To pass CCNA is not an easy task at all, you can’t pass the exam by only reading the exam dumps. You must have a pre-plan to pass the courses specifically.
However, it is a good idea to practice the previous exam questions, I suggest also to take an exam stimulator to test yourself before the exam.
Thank you, Emma, I’ll try to do my best.
Thank you for your advice!
The steps required to configure PAT are as follows;
First, you have to define a pool of global addresses to be used for overload translation, then configure the source translation by using the keywords interface and overload. Finally, identify the interfaces that are involved in the PAT.
You are right! the second option is one of the correct answers, however, the other right one is the last option (Identify the inside interface) not the fourth one.
